We use the information we collect to serve our customers, market and promote our cleaning services to existing and prospective customers, and improve your experience across our platforms. Examples include:

  • Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling services
  • Processing and managing payments for services
  • Addressing service complaints and feedback
  • Communicating with you by email, telephone, or text message, in accordance with your preferences
  • Improving customer service
  • Sending you marketing and promotional emails on behalf of Homey, unless you have opted out of receiving such communications

  • Marketing and advertising Homey products and services

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Personal Information to third parties, except as disclosed in this Privacy Policy at the time you provide your information.

We do share your information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business, including payment processors (such as Stripe, PayPal, and Amazon Pay), scheduling tools, and customer communication platforms. These providers are only given access to the information necessary to perform their specific services on our behalf and are required to keep your information confidential.

When you choose to pay with PayPal or Amazon Pay, you will be directed to sign in and complete that portion of the transaction directly on PayPal's or Amazon's own platform. Any information you provide to PayPal or Amazon in that process is also governed by PayPal's or Amazon's own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

The security and confidentiality of your Personal Information is important to us. We have implemented technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, disclosure, and improper use, consistent with our obligations under the New York SHIELD Act.

Homey uses trusted payment processors, including Stripe, PayPal, and Amazon Pay, to securely handle billing transactions. Stripe is PCI-compliant and stores card data using industry-standard encryption; PayPal and Amazon Pay transactions are authenticated and processed directly through the customer's own PayPal or Amazon account. Homey does not store your full card number on its own servers.

We encourage you to protect your account by keeping your password confidential and logging out or closing your browser after each visit to our site.

Please note that despite our reasonable efforts, no security measure is ever completely impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your Personal Information.

5. Marketing Communications and Your Choices

With your permission, Homey may send you promotional emails, newsletters, and marketing communications about our services, special offers, and home care tips. We may also conduct targeted marketing campaigns for homeowners and small business owners.
